Born in Minnesota, passed way at the age of 90 in University Place, Wa. Gene was a retired bartender who enjoyed fishing,and poker with the guys .He served in World War II and the Korean War decorated with the Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal, Phillipine Liberation Bronze Star,Korean Service Medal Silver Star,Korean Presidential Award. He is survived by his wife Deanna Larson of the home, Katie his Dog and Best Friend. brother Curt Larson and family of Minnesota, Gene’s children Berta Jean Longbrake (Bill) of Lakewood California, Janel James Minneapolis Minnesota,Cheri Cole (Kevin) of University Place ,Lenny Larson (Elaine)of Roy, 10 grandchildren 11 greatgrandchildren : Rory Heinz of Graham, Rhonda Hewitt (Larry) of Chehalis, Gloria Bryd of Bellingham, Kathy Chilson (Rich) of Graham, 12 grandchildren,16 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and daughter Barbara. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society. At his request there will be no service.
