Obituary of Douglas Lee Emert

Doug passed away peacefully on April 7th due to Heart Failure that he had battled for greater than 18 years. Please visit the Emert Family Website: www.theemerts.com. Doug was a husband, a father, a brother, and a grandfather. He is survived by his wife Irmi Emert, younger brothers residing in Oregon Roger 69, Wayne 67, sons Dave 47, and Steve 51, daughter in law Christine 43, and his grandchildren Harrison 4, and Mitchell 2. Doug was born in Seattle at Swedish Hospital but spent the majority of his childhood in Portland, Oregon. He served two tours in the US Marine Corp, from 1954 to 1960 during the Liberation of the Philippine and Okinawa islands.
