Obituary of Lawrence Bruce Ojala

Mr. Lawrence Bruce Ojala (Larry), age 57 passed away unexpectedly on April 7th at his home in Steilacoom. Larry was the son of Jeanette Jackson of Steilacoom. His father and stepmother Larry and Jenny Ojala reside in Arizona. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, Lynn, Mark, Paul, Craig and Susan. Larry was a graduate of Lakes High School and the University of Washington. His passion was teaching children and special education. He was also a long time member of AA and was supported by many special friends in the program. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, especially his great niece Amira. The family would like to thank the emergency personnel and the Steilacoom Police Department for the care and support shown to our family during this difficult time. A private family service will be held. Memorials are preferred to AA.
