I have known Pearl Ginther my whole life, having grown up going to Mt. View Lutheran Church. My own daughter, Pearl, has always felt a strong kinship with the elder Pearl due to their having the same name. My daughter loved to tell people that she shared a name with an almost-100-year-old lady, and once Pearl's 100th and 101st birthdays arrived, my daughter was especially proud to tell others about the elder Pearl. I have many photos of the two of them together, taken from the time my Pearl was a newborn to age seven. I cherish these photos, and I will truly miss Pearl. As all who knew her are aware, she is quite the amazing lady. Grace and Peace to her!

I had the pleasure to meet Pearl twice. First time was on my first visit to Lorin and Marylou home in October 2008, and finally at your 100-aniversary in September 2009. I will never forget Pearl. Love to my family in US. Thinking of you all!

I had the great pleasure of meeting Pearl at Lutherland in 1976. She was one in a million, and a great inspiration to me in my Christian journey. Her wit and wisdom brings joy to my heart when I think of her. God's blessings to her family and friends. Bonnie

Our sympathy and prayers go out to all of the Ginther family. We will always carry Pearl in our thoughts and prayers. What a wonderful Christian mother. We will continue to share her thoughts concerning the 'glory' days to come. God bless you all.

Ahhhh the heavens are having a party now that 'saint' Pearl has arrived. We've been blessed to have her with us for so many memorable years. Fun to be reminded (in reading her obituary) that she and I share the same birth town. Just one more reason to have appreciated dear Pearl.
