Obituary of Leo Roger Iverson

Leo R. Iverson (the Shadow) 81 year old passed away on July 17th at Kindred Care, Lakewood, Washington, a sufferer of C.O.P.D. and crippling arthritis. The 12th of 13 children born in Coleharbor,North Dakota to Henry and Alice Iverson. A resident of Tacoma, Leo spent many years working in Alaska for a moving company, when home had a passion for DIY renovation. The Iverson family created their own entertainment with guitars and song. Leo was duly talented and played the harmonica and banjo. Leo was also a long-time member of the Eagles in Puyallup where often in later years enjoyed dining and dancing. Leo was preceded in death by his wife Mary Iverson (Taylor) until her death in 1984 Survived by sisters Mildred Gibbs and Margie Musser of California, daughter Jeannie Scarlett & grandchildren of Alabama, three grand children, Stephanie Marie Goodman, Robert Michael Terrien & Sarah Nicole Terrien, two great grand children, Cadence Leigh Marie and Reagan Marie, and his friend & companion of the past 25 years, Laura Bonoit A big Thank you to Kathy & Dennis Iverson for their continued care and support of Leo in his final years.
