Obituary of Lorraine Louella Yearsley

Lori was born on September 30, 1941 in a town called, Story City, located in Iowa. On December 29, 2009 Lori left this world to go start her new journey. Lori was a Wife, loving Mother and most of all a wonderful Grandmother. Lori was married to Glen Yearsley for 26 years, They had a great life together. No one loved Lori more then Glen she was the apple of his eyes. On April 28th 2008, Lori lost the love of her life. Life was hard for Lori after Glen past but she was soon able to pull things together with the help of all her love ones. Lori had a life full of adventures. One of her biggest adventures was being a mother. Lori has four children, who love her dearly, Ronnie, Donna, Brenda and Christi. As a mother it was rewarding to be able to watch her children grow into adults. Lori not only got to see her children turn into adults but she got to see her children have families of there own. Lori loved a lot of things in her life but one thing she loved more than anything was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her being a grandma was one of the most highlighted times of her life. Lori's grandchildren always brought a smile to her face and she would go out of her way for them. Lori loved to go camping, have BBQ and spend as much time as she could with her family. Lori has always been surrounded by people who love her. She loved to be the center of attention. She knew how to get what she wanted, Lori was a very smart Grandma. Lori past away at age 68 but in her eyes and many of us who spent time around Lori new she was anything but 68. When Lori left this world she was not alone. She had lots of love ones right by her side. We are all sadden by the lost of our beloved Lori, but we are also excited for her to start a new journey right along the side of her beloved husband.
