Ooooh Ricky, The best drinkin' buddy a girl could ever have. I will miss you for the rest of my days here on earth. We sure had some great times at Pete's and takin' our mom's out to lunch, I think we were both ready for a drink after that! Fred and I were looking forward to you visiting us down here in the sun this spring but I guess you got a better plan huh? Well all the memories we have made together the past 17 years will keep you alive in my heart forever. Til we meet again my friend save me a seat at the bar. Love you, Me

Wow, Rick. You and I never had a lot in common besides our love of crosswords, Sage the Wonder Dog, and a cold beverage or two (or three, LOL). I fell in love with Sage, so much that I bought a house almost right next to yours, so Sage could come over every morning when you went to work. It was perfect. Things changed, and now you're gone. I'm still having a hard time believing it. I still imagine you there, waving at me as I drive by. We'll miss you, Rick.

Rick my friend, you're the first person I met when I came into BarBQ Petes back then. Now 33 years later, we stuck by each other side. You were always for me and whoever asked for a favor, thats just how big your heart was. Playing golf, hiking up in woods with Tom and Dave, walking Sage, watching football, oh yes, lets not forget the after hours at Pete's trying to imatae the Dirty Dancing, now that was fun LOL, I'll miss you my dear sweet friend. You'll always be with me, you'll always have that special place deep down in my heart that no one else can take. I miss my love. You are and still very special to me.. Love you! Here is you're internal flame.

I have some great memories from our Meridian Plumbing days and standing around the fire while you told some funny stories. Rick was a great guy and I know all his many friends will miss him dearly. Rest in Peace Rick Pfau.

I have known Rick for many years, maybe not as many years as some of the folks that will be honoring him but still over 25 + years just the same. Rick lived life the way many people wished that they could have. Rick always had a laugh and a story to tell. I envied his carefree ways and often wished that I had his ability to make and keep friends the way that he could. Rick also was a man of knowledge. There wasn't anything that he did not know. Just ask him! There wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for you either. Rick, my dear friend, this isn't fair. You left us way too early. We weren't done with the laughing and telling stories yet. I hope that you tell St. Peter the story about Pancho Villa or maybe the one about Captain Hook. That way you'll walk past him while he's laughing himself silly. I'll miss you terribly...I already do. I'll see you on the other side someday, Rick. Save me a stool, will you? Thank you for everything you've done for me and May God Bless and keep you with him. Always Your Friend Frank
