Obituary of Chhom Chou

Chhom Chou was born on May 8, 1939 in Battambang, Cambodia and passed away on March 11, 2012 in Bellevue, WA. He is survived by his loving wife, Phoeut Khong; daughters Sothea Chou and Sophath Chou Colwell; granddaughter Mardi Nhem and numerous extended family members and friends. Chhom Chou brought his family including his niece and nephew to the United States in 1982. He has worked hard to build a successful life for his family. In 2004, he returned to Cambodia for the very first time since he left the country. Since then, he had an opportunity to visit his friends and family back home every year, which he loved to do. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love and strength. Chhom Chou's ashes will be taken back to Battambang, Cambodia to be placed in a columbarium with his parents. Funeral and Memorial Service will be held on March 17, 2012 at Wat Samakki Ratanaram, 8208 McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial 253-566-1008.
