I had the honor to be the Commander of Jim's air cavalry troop in Viet Nam. Jim served the troop, his family, and his country in an outstanding manner. He served with great honor and integrity. His Silver Spur brothers will miss him greatly. Bob Witcher Silver Spur 6 (1968)

My condolences to the family. I've known Jim since High School and feel that my life will be a little poorer for his passing. We shared an interest in fast cars(and going fast) and bumped into one another over the years around that mutual interest and mutual friends. I'll remember Jim as this tall, lanky guy with a big smile.

Bachon & family, My family and I are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Growing up as Tony's 'little' sister I always loved when Jim came to visit. He always had that wonderful smile and a big hug. Even though I rarely got the chance to see him as an adult, when I did I always got that big smile and a big hug! Jim was truly a dear man and will be missed by many. Please take care. Joanne Munn

To Jim's family. I was shocked to read about your loss in the paper. It has been many years since I have seen Jim, but I do remember him well. Went for a wild ride in his old two door sedan with the hot motor down Pacific Avenue one day. I purchased his jeep when he tired of it and wanted something else. I do remember Bonnie and Bill, but you probably don't remember me. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Bachan and Family; I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. On the other hand, I'm glad I had the chance to visit with him not too long ago with our good friend Tony. The three of us had known each other since school days, We had a great lunch and a few beers, although it was too short. I was always proud of Jim for his service to our Country, flying ability and his talents with machinery. Of course he had a great personality too, and it was always pleasant to be with him. He'll be missed. If I can help in any way, please dont hesitate to contact me. I'll do my best. With regards and sympathy, Mike Rabstoff

Jim and I go back to when we were in trade school. Jim was the finest person that anyone would want to be friends with. I am so sorry that I was not able to spend more time with Jim; we had lunch together from time to time, but I wish it could have been more often. I will always remember Jim as a true friend; and I miss him. Doug & Judie Sparks

My deepest sympathy to all you members of Jim's family. He has always been a friend that has stood out as an exceptional person in every way. Jim and I go back to Rogers School in the 1940's and in my mind, I can still see Jim as he was as a 3rd grader! We worked together when Jim came on as a new Machinist Apprentice at Boeing Plant One. I had just grduated from the program. He remembered me from Rogers School when we first met there. I feel Jim's loss very deeply. Please let me know of his memorial services. Thank you. Sincerely, Jim Lesniak
