She was born on November 13,1949 in Seattle,Washington. To Gladys and Charles Torstenson.She was 56. She married Thomas Jelvik on January4,1972 in Everett,Washington. Mrs Jelvik enjoyed listening to country music,walking the beaches of Washington and Oregon.She was a member of Sound Christian Fellowship. Her main love and interest was her family and friends. She is survived by her mother Gladys Torstenson of Shelton,her daughters Lisa McFarlene and her husband Rick of Maple Valley,Christie Taylor and her husband Jim of Federal Way,Dina Benge and her husband David of Federal Way. Sisters Mary Johnson of Shelton,Donna Quinlivian and her husband Mike of Sea-Tac,Theresa Torstenson of Shelton,Janet Adams and her husband Steve of Kent.Brothers Andy Torstenson and his wife Sandy of Olympia,Joe Torstenson of Seattle. Sister-in-laws Marge Hatley and Doris McKee,Brother-in-law Greg Jelvik. 12 Grandchildren Jill,Jennifer,Kaila,Melissa,Daniel,Karli Taylor. Michael,Mathew,Krista McFarlene. Josh,Zack and Tiffany Benge. Numerous Aunts,Uncles,Nieces,Nephews,Great nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by many close friends.Her father and husband preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am January 21,2006 At Lake View Congregational Church, 4606 108th St. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. Reception following at: Quail Run{in the Cabana} 31901 31st PL .
