Obituary of Robert Michael Di Marco

Robert "Robbie" "Big Rob" Di Marco was born on November 24, 1959 and passed away September 2,2011. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Di Marco by 11 months. He is survived by His life partner Tosha Karschnik, his mother Maria "Trixie", his sister Michelle Di Marco. Also survived by a niece Tamara Stutler, two great nieces Kristin and Theresa Millard and and a great nephew Curtis Millard. He was born in Albuquerque New Mexico to Michael James and Maria "Trixie" Di Marco. His father was in the military so much of his childhood was spent in various places in Europe. When he was about 9 or so they transferred to Fort Lewis army base in Tacoma Washington. He was a man of all trades he and his sister Michelle and friends made sandwiches for the airlines for 3 cents a sandwich and packaged salad dressing for his father'ss company. His parents owned many restaurants and lounges that he was a big part of. He got his first Yamaha 50 at age 8 and led him to love moto cross which he entered at the age of 12, and became one of the top for Washington state. After those years he decided to move to Vermont while there he worked at a bread factory delivering bread throughout the day. He also worked at a cheese factory and a ski resort called Quimby country. In the year 2000 he came back home because of his parents' health issues. While back home he worked at Cash n' Carry grocers. Around '03-'04 he started driving truck for Swift transportation he absolutely loved his job Tosha got on the truck with him in 2008 and rode with him until oct 2010. There were many things that Tosha saw riding with him that many people will never get to see it was the most amazing two years of my life! He touched every life of the people he met through the years. He was a funny, caring, kindhearted guy. In his short life he did more and saw more things than most people that live a full life do. His other big love was his dogs Natasha 1, Natasha 2, and Sasha poo. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial. 253-566-1008
