Obituary of William Charles Wilder

 

William "Bill" Charles Wilder, sunrise April 7th 1949 to sunset February 25th 2024, passed  at home with daughter Dawnyel and granddaughter Kaylanna at his side.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend reunited with his love Carole Wiilder.
William proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 retired SGT E5  serving his country. 
A man of many trades from painter, mechanics , wood working, metal working and construction. Retired after 40 plus years as a painter.

An outdoors man enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and 4wheeling. He leaves behind a Legacy of unconditional love, courage, wisdom,  teachings, generosity and strength.
He was a  devoted family  man. He cherished his family and friends showing us all a different ways to love and enjoy life without needing to be the big dog on the block. His hugs , laughter,  jokes, and beautiful smile, love for life and the outdoors will be dealy missed by family and friends. 

His most precious love in life was his daughter Dawnyel;  granddaughters Kayla and Kaylanna 4 amazing great grandchildren Nevaeh, Kaimana, Jaziah, Kyro; step grandchildren Ashley, Nathan, Christy, great granddaughters Emma and Teddi and step son Thomas.

William's everlasting light his love must someday pass beyond our present site. He must leave us in this world that we will now know without his radiant light, like a candle  his love will shine more peaceful and bright in Heaven where our loved ones will live forever in God's eternal light.



Military services  will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery
18600 SE 240TH ST, KENT, WA 98042
MARCH 21ST AT 1 PM.
Please all attending service arrive 15-30 minutes prior to check in at the volunteer public information center for directions to the designated shelter. As the ceremony starts right at 1:00 pm.
