Obituary of Contessa Faith Armstead

Contessa Faith Armstead passed away on Friday April 14, 2023, at the age of 60. She passed away in her Tacoma, Washington home after a long battle with cancer.

Contessa was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and step parent.  She is survived and loved by her best friend/husband, Jim, her father, Frank, her brother, Keith, her son, Jason, her daughter Jessica Ann, her grandchildren, Jonathan, Raymond, Jessie, Remy, Jesus, Sawyer, as well as 3 step children, Michelle, Monika, Joshua, and 4 step grandchildren.  She loved and cared for her family above all else and is surely watching over each and every one of them.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy who was waiting in Heaven with open arms for her baby girl "Connie."

Tessa was a gentle soul, that will be missed and remembered by family and friends for her strong, quiet nature, loving support, and her always beautiful smile.  She was a very hard worker, loved to travel, laugh, and have new experiences. She was always up for a new adventure, but was very comfortable just spending time in her home in Mexico- and "Beach Days" with friends.

Contessa felt very blessed to have the time and opportunity to say her goodbyes to all her friends and loved ones in the last months of her life, and passed peacefully knowing she touched so many lives and was loved by so many.  Because, family and friends are spread out across North America, there will be no formal service.  It was her wish to have her ashes buried with her loving husband, at Willamette National Cemetery in Happy Valley Oregon at a future date.

The World will be a little duller without her bright smile and loving heart...in lieu of flowers/thoughts, her family is asking that "in Memorium Gift" in her name-to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation-who are leading the way to support people with this rare deadly cancer, and are fighting for a cure.
