Obituary of Charae Louise Ashcraft

Charae Louise Ashcraft passed away at St. Francis Hospital on March 21st. She was 63 years old and a lifelong resident of Federal Way. She attended both Thomas Jefferson HS and Highline Community College.  She was employed by ProAmpac (formerly Mohawk) in Auburn for over 20 years. She volunteered with Fusion and Auburn Survivors of Suicide (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). She loved her doggies!  After losing Pugsley she adopted Blaze. She frequently donated to Useless Bay Dog Sanctuary and the Auburn Humane Society. 

Charae was predeceased by her father, Raymond Ashcraft Sr. and her brother John.  She is survived by her brother Ray and her mother Char and Char’s wife, Catherine. 

She was a wonderful person, a good friend, generous, kind, funny and sometimes sassy. She will be missed by all who knew her. .  She was taken from us by a return of the cancer she fought so valiantly.
