Obituary of Jackie J Bentz

Jackie  was  born  on  March  5,  1937  to  Harry  & Alice  Bentz  in  Tacoma,  WA.  She passed  away  on  March  8,  2023  to  rejoin  her  parents,  sister  Barbara,  niece  & nephew  Jodie  & Larry,  long-time  companion  Susan  &  numerous  family  & friends who  passed  before  her.  Jackie  spent  her  entire  life  in  the  Tacoma  area.  After graduation  from  St.  Leo's  High  School  in  1955  she  embarked  on  a  31  year  career with  the  State  of  Washington,  retiring  in  1988.  She  continued  to  work  6 years part-time for  Allenmore  Psychological  Assoc. 

She  had  a  love  for  animals,  enjoyed  casino  gambling,  movies,  live  theatre performances,  music,  day  trips  with  Freedom  & Exploration  NW  Tours,  monthly breakfasts  with  former  classmates  &  spending  time  with  family  & friends. 

She  leaves  behind  nieces  Lori(Jerry),  Cheryl(Steve)  and  numerous  Great  Nieces  & Nephews,  Great-Great  Nieces  &  Nephews along  with  Long-time  friends  who touched  her  life  in  a  special  way.  She  attended  St.  John  of  the  Woods  Catholic Church. 

Services  will  be  held  on  Wednesday,  March  22  at  1:30  pm  in  the  Chapel  at  Calvery Cemetery  with  burial  following  immediately with  her  beloved  mother.
