Obituary of Bernice Bohannon

Bernice was born in Hopkinsville, KY and was a wonderful daughter of Jessie Mae and Samuel Adams Sr.

Bernice arrived in Tacoma, WA as a military wife in 1963.

 

During her life in Tacoma, Bernice attended Pierce College and worked for the state of WA and happily

raised four girls, Teresa Ward, Damita Bohannon, Robyn Dobbins, Charlotte Finkel and a host of grandchildren

and great grandchildren.

 

Bernice was a kind classy lady, always sharp and stylish and she enjoyed socializing with her friends at the

former Golden Eagle Club. Bernice was for sure three times a lady and she will be sorely missed.

 

A memorial celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
