Beverly Cram

Obituary of Beverly J Cram

Beverly Jane Cram passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, after losing her
battle with cancer. She was born in Puyallup, Washington, on February 2, 1930
to Robie Wentworth Cram and Sara (Lockhart) Cram.

Bev worked to travel. She retired from Pierce Transit in 1992. Her adventures
took her around the world. Breathing in the history of the places she visited, and
creating memories and life-long friendships along the way.

For twenty years Bev volunteer-taught children in Tacoma, Washington, to read.
One of her greatest memories involved one of her students who came back to
see her as an adult and thanked her for the difference she made in his life.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Multicare Tacoma, the staff
of The Lodge at Mallards Landing of Gig Harbor, and Franciscan Hospice for
their excellent care and the compassionate attention she received during the last
months of her life.

Bev is survived by her nieces, Sandy (Ed) Murphy, Tracy (Daniel) Perkins, and
Gail Cram, nephews Matt (Claudia) Hawkins and Eli (Crystal) Hawkins, and her
grand nieces and grand nephew. Cousins, Eileen Black, Dorothy (Al) Trippel,
Sandi (Jim) Harcom, and Betty (Brian) Rees.

Per Bev’s wishes there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the
American Cancer Society.
