Robert Lucas

Obituary of Robert Lucas

Having succumb to a battle with cancer.

Preceded by his parents James and Dorothy Lucas.

Survived by his spouse Hillary, sister JoAnne and brothers Randy and Ron.

Bob was loved by extended family and many friends.

Bob served this great country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war.

Bob was an avid hobbiest, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and being a cowboy.  He would help people with home or church improvement project and was constantly doing the same around their farm until his last day.

Bob was comforted daily by his faith and walk with the Lord.   Bob was driven to share his love for the Lord with anyone he met.   He was fond of talking scripture to guide himself and others through challenging times to sunnier days!

Stories, if you were lucky enough to have met Bob - You were probably drawn into one of his many life moments; he had a gift for telling stories and would share many of them over dinner or games.

Bob was entertained by playing games with his family or helping others count points, FIVE!!! He liked to laugh and tell a good joke, even if  sometimes off color. LOL

Those closest to Bob, would say:

Bob is like a Tootsie Pop... hard on the outside and soft on the inside.

He would be cowboy tough and then drop everything to get up to help you he was Mr. Fix it.

Bob would say get yourself right with the Lord, read some scripture listen to his words and you will find peace.

The family will hold a celebration of life in the coming months.
