Obituary of Shirley Violet Clark(Stovall)

Shirley V Clark (Stovall) entered into eternal rest at age 96.  She was born on July 19, 1925. in Dayton, WA.  Just as she wanted, Shirley passed away peacefully, in her home on the Nisqually river.

For many years Shirley was the assistant manager for Clark’s Body and Fender located at 94th and South Tacoma Way in Lakewood.

Around 1967, Shirley and her late husband Norm, moved to their river property adjacent to Wilcox Farm.

Shirley was employed by Wilcox Farm as a courier and also assisted in farm tour advents for ten years, retiring at age 92.

Norm and Shirley were members of the American Legion, Post 264, located in Rainier, WA.  For 17 years Shirley supplied the eggs, courtesy of Wilcox Farms,  for the Annual Veteran’s Day breakfast.

She is survived by sister Jackie and husband Floyd Fick of Elk, WA, one nephew, 4 nieces, one great nephew and one great niece.

Shirley is also survived by stepson John Clark and wife Kathy, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 18, at 12:00 (noon) provided by Edwards Memorial located at 11020 South Tacoma Way in Lakewood.
