Tara Eichelberger

Obituary of Tara Sue Eichelberger

Tara Sue was born August 10, 1963 to the proud parents, Jerry and Tamara Farstad.

She loved music, proudly owning a stack of vinyls & strumming along on the guitar.

She grew up with a passion for cutting her dolls hair into the newest styles and later enjoyed cutting and styling all of her friends hair consequently ending up in cosmotology school.

She did her share of waitressing and working in restraunts becoming a fabulous cook. Tara loved camping and the water.  She spent many summers at Summit Lake almost drowning herself trying to ski to no avail but expertly innertubed and always was begging to go again.

She met Merle Eichelberger at his store Summit Lake Grocery, right next door to the restaurant she had waitressed in.

They were married on June 6th, 1988.  They had four children, Aaron Glen, Justin Dean, then ten years later Amber Mae and Elijah Joel.

Her and her husband worked hard at their store and grew their business together.

She was active with the Girl Scouts and spent many years as troup leader when Amber was growing up.

Tara was very active and dedicated to her church. Tara was always the first to volunteer to cook or make decorations for special functions at the church or for friends.  She was continuously helping those in need and opened her door to all, treating them as family.  She had a loving, kind  and nurturing personality and a mother to all.

She always offered her services and always tried to feed everyone.

She is survived by her mother, Tamara, sister, Lara, husband Merle, children, Aaron, Justin, Amber, Eli, and her grandchildren, Shayna and Xavier.

She was truly loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

All are welcome to the Celebration Of Life hosted by Capital Christian Center in Olympia, WA on Saturday, May 7th 11am-2pm.
