Reueta Loreta Doiron, 79, of Lakewood Washington, passed away at home surrounded by her spouse, and family on Thursday October 7th, 2021. Reueta was born the oldest daughter to Laloava Tupu Fili and Aano (Ale) Fili on August 25th, 1942 in Lotofaga, Safata, Samoa. Reueta and Gerard Doiron were joined together in marriage on January 10th, 1977, Enid Oklahoma. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage. Reueta was the founder and Executive Director for the Samoan Family Support Services (nonprofit) since inception from 1997 through her passing. Her life impacted numerous youths, families, and communities. Reueta enjoyed helping those in need. She was an avid Bingo player. Reueta was passionate about family life and all her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Ateima Samoa Fili. She is survived by her grateful husband Gerry Doiron of Lakewood, children; Peletisara (Eti) AhSan, Hope (Veronica) Campbell, Gerard (Fia) Fili Doiron, Loretta Aano Doiron all of Lakewood, Malu Fili-Ansbach Germany, Toetu (Tracy) Fili, sisters; Faatoe “Mary” (Paul) King of Wichita Kansas, Alaifata (Ronald) Doiron of Lakewood, Fuga (Kolio) Faileaso of American Samoa, Falute (Falani) Gaseata of American Samoa, Toetu Laloava Fili of Samoa, Sapatu (Fialuae) Laloava Fili of Samoa, Isaako (Janet) Laloava Fili of New Zealand, grandchildren; Derek German -Tacoma, Eti Ahsan-Wichita KS, Lafayette, Leonetta, Leiohmie, Lannicus, Lauvion, Leland, Lourdes Doiron-Lakewood, Sila Salote-Si’va, Isaia Taimane Manaea-Lakewood, Tulua, Theresa, Tiffany, Troy Sialega Fili-Spanaway, many nieces and nephews from around the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and her beloved Samoa.   A private Family Service will be conducted at Edwards Memorial in Lakewood October 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00. A public Memorial Service will occur on October 20, 2021 from 1:30 till 3:00 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 101 E 38th St, Tacoma 98404 hosted by Family of Christ Full Gospel Church (Pastor Enesi Vaitoe). Our family request you donate in lieu of flowers to the American Breast Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in her memory.
