Obituary of Dreama Sue Overn

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Dreama Sue Overn, 78, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all who knew her, on July 30, 2021.

Dreama was born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 10, 1942, along with her twin brother Charles, to Ermal Mae and Russell Berry.  She’s our hillbilly mountain mama and was definitely a mama bear you wouldn’t want to poke, as she was fiercely protective of her loved ones. Dreama loved painting ceramics, watching her Steelers play football, was a beautiful seamstress, and made the best tator salad anyone could imagine. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Dreama is survived by her children Jock, Danita, Leslie, and Dianna; her grandchildren, Jessica, Kylie, Billy, Christopher, Michael, Jordan, Erik, Leanna and Allen; and great grandchildren Eden, Lilly, Alizabeth, Levi, and Wyatt.

No services are planned, as she wouldn’t want a fuss.  You may make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Dementia Society of America in her honor as an alternative to flowers.
