Obituary of Dawn Baty

Dawn Baty (Walker)(Kooley) born May 21, 1941, passed away in her sleep at age 80 on June 29, 2021 at her home in Gig Harbor. Her community will miss her smiling face and amazing grace of entertaining many friends and family at all times. She was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Her family was super important to her and she loved spending time with them. Born in Watford City, ND she was the daughter of the late James & Laura Walker. She is survived by her husband Bill Baty, son Chris Kooley (wife Lee Ann), son Beau Kooley (husband Shelby) sister Sharron Gilbert (husband Richard), sister Jeannine Lukin, granddaughters Amanda and Tanner Kooley. She was predeceased by husband Dale Kooley, brother Nick Walker and brother in law Keith Kooley. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gig Harbor Golf Course, Sunday July 11th 2pm to 6pm.
