Obituary of Seth Paul Stuen

Seth Paul Stuen passed away on May 14^th, 2021 at the age of 43, at his home in Seattle.  He was born on April 3, 1978, and spent his early years in the Woodinville area.  He graduated from Pace Academy in Atlanta Georgia, and attended college at both Florida State and Pacific Lutheran Universities.  He would be described as a “people person”, easily communicating with those he met and was always making new friends wherever he went.  Seth could light up a room with his humor.  He loved sports, played basketball in high school, and also enjoyed snowboarding, hockey and playing golf.  Seth was a huge Seahawks fan and kept up with all the team’s news.   He held jobs in both sales and construction.

Seth is survived by his father Paul Stuen (Karin), mother Sandra Buffa (Bill), brother Phil (Carissa), stepsisters Lindsey (Ryan) and Krista (Dale), and step brother Michael (Carla).  The niece and nephews he never met, Peyton, Bodhi and Beckett, missed the joy of Uncle Seth.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank those at Humphrey House, especially Barry, who helped take such good care of Seth.  A heartfelt thanks also to the doctors, nurses, EMTs and dedicated counselors who supported him throughout the past few years. 

A private family gathering will be held at his parents’ home.
