Obituary of LeRoy Clarence VanDenElzen

After 8 years of fighting the horrible disease of M.S. LeRoy’s fight for life ended on April 22nd, 2021. LeRoy was proceeded in death by his mother and father. LeRoy is survived by in life by his three brothers & three sisters. He was married to Terri with three girls of his own: Shirley, Michelle, and Wendy. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren.

LeRoy was always a hard-working man that enjoyed many hobbies, with the greatest of those being hunting & fishing. His favorite places to go are places “where trees and rocks don’t talk” (after all he lived in a house full of women).

LeRoy was the man who opened his home to many family & friends, making sure they always had a place to stay & food in their bellies. He would make sure to purchase extra groceries to feed the neighborhood, if you left his home hungry that was your own fault.

LeRoy was the man of the house, providing for his family, protecting his girls, and loving his adventures. We love the man who gave us life and showed us how to love. We will forever remember the lessons LeRoy taught us and try to live our lives without judgement. You will forever be remembered and missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 23rd, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Spanaway lake, Shelter D.
