We are so sad to lose Aunty KimAnne so suddenly. She has been such a joyful and loving part of our lives and will never be forgotten. I can still hear her genuine laugh that was constant and contagious. Ever since I was little she would always make these banners for all of us kids for whatever celebration. Kim was so supportive, she was at everything, no matter what she was always thinking of others. She would send cards from grade school through college and when we started having babies would send them to our boys for fundraisers, and other life events... She came over a day a week to care for Kalei and Kainoa while I worked and brought a craft every single time she came. No matter what age no matter how many kids it was never too messy for Kim, she taught to let them be little and how important it was to be creative and that the mess was not as big of a deal. She was so smart! We will always have paint in this house because of aunt KimAnne and we will always create in honor of her, we are going to miss her dearly. ❤️

KimAnne & I became fast friends in the first grade. We stuck together throughout our school years and stayed in touch as adults. KimAnne was beside me through every major event in my life; weddings, moves, birthdays, graduations, illnesses and deaths.
Even after moving across the country, KimAnne was faithful to stay in touch through snail mail. What a treat to get real mail! Reading the news about her life and family in her familiar handwriting enriched the experience. I am so thankful for such a friend. KimAnne added comfort, strength, guidance and fun to my life.
I will forever be grateful for my best friend.

David and I are both deeply saddened by the loss of KimAnne (Nama). We loved her caring heart for friends, family and especially...kids...She gave so much of herself to our (mutual) grandson, Ethan. He would proudly present us with crafts like painted rocks or handmade ornaments that they had lovingly crafted together. We will always cherish those treasures. Together they spent countless hours honing Ethan’s baking skills, decorating gingerbread houses and taking adventures he will always remember. Thank you, KimAnne.❤️ Our deepest condolences to all KimAnne’s family...RIP sweet “Nama”.

We are so saddened by the sudden passing of KimAnne. She was an amazing lady who loved her family and friends with so much passion. Many hugs to you Cliff. Your relationship was so special, we could feel the love you had for each other anytime we were blessed to spend time with you. KimAnne was a constant supporter and cheerleader to everyone. Our family will miss her so much. She always had a smile that could light up a room and that laugh was so wonderful and contagious. Truly the best Nama ever to Leo and Ethan. Many prayers for everyone.
RIP KimAnne, you are now our beautiful angel.

Our greatest condolences to all of her family and friends. We grieve with you and have you in our hearts. I met KimAnne on several occasions at Koontz/Beardemphl family events and she was always warm hearted and shining with pride for the accomplishments of her children. Part of KimAnne’s legacy is the amazing children that she raised and the love and compassion they pass down to others.
Rest in peace. Love from Jeff Doan and the entire Doan family.

I met KimAnne way back in the 70's at St. Patrick's church hall where we attended good old fashioned prayer meeting on Thursday nights. The first thing I saw when I met her was that the light of Christ absolutely shone from her and that light touched all who she encountered. She had a very pure heart, a soft and beautiful heart. Our lives took similar paths as we married and began raising children, my path took me to Port Orchard to attend church and so we didn't see she and Cliff as often. But myself and two others were invited to sing at her wedding. She was the Eucharistic Minister at our wedding. She taught preschool in Tacoma and I taught preschool in Port Orchard. We didn't know we had so much in common! We had a common bond anyway and we stayed close even tho we weren't in direct contact all the time. Recently, KimAnne reached out to me through private message asking for prayer for herself for the surgery she had had and the chemotherapy. I stayed close, asking how she was doing, periodically. She mentioned that Cliff was an excellent caregiver. Then later, how the chemotherapy had exhausted her. I continued to pray. It was a shock to my system - her unexpected death. My heart is broken and I am devastated. I wanted to share two special memories: One was when she returned from her first trip to Mexico when she worked with Fr. Rick. She was so happy and that light shined right out of her! She was speaking Spanish and whenever we'd ask her a question about her trip, she would only answer in Spanish, with that cute mischievious smile she had! Of course, she knew that none of us understood a word she was speaking! Another memory I have was when we had gone to Seattle to attend the Charismatic Renewal Conference. We were out walking around the hotel we had rooms in when we run across the very famous Priest who had been the KeyNote speaker there. He got on the elevator with us as we explained we were going to a prayer meeting and followed us right into Dave and Iris's room where we were gathering to pray. Dave and Iris both had their jaws drop right to the floor and were both extremely surprised at what was happening! We all prayed together there with the Priest and wow......what a great experience. I will be praying for all KimAnne has left behind, for we know where KimAnne resides and boy, she will be one beautiful angel, caring for and keeping us all in her care.

To send deepest sympathy’s seems so inadequate. I am heartbroken for all of you and will keep you ALL in my thoughts and prayers as you try to cope with this devastating loss. I know the LOVE of God and the Love of family and friends will hold you as you grieve. I became friends with Kim at the request of my brother-in-law Larry Hawkins. Larry said his cousin Dave Beardemphl was moving in to my neighborhood and his kids would be coming to St. Patrick’s School and he would appreciate it if I went out of my way to be nice to his kids, Dave’s kid that was in my class was Kim. Befriending Kim was one of the easiest things I’ve ever done. Kim was sweet, kind, and super cute. I remember her hair was as long as she was. She came from the new generation of large Catholic families as I was from an old large Catholic family. I feel like we are in someways we are family for sure. We shared the same neighborhood, church, schools and community as kids and as parents. I was blessed to have both of Kim’s daughters Melissa and Amanda work at the Spar with me. Dave and Iris have always been an example of love and faith in God and in family. I am grateful for Facebook as well to be able to share Kim’s love and joy of her life and her family. Rest In Peace Kim. God bless
