Obituary of Taylor Joseph Winebrenner

Taylor Joseph Winebrenner passed away in his sleep from a seizure February 3^rd 2021. He was 24. Truly  a brilliant young man, he did well in school, his heart was always in the right place. Taylor was injured one Halloween when other kids attacked him for his candy. He never fully recovered and was left with epilepsy. Although having severe health issues by no fault of his own he remained deeply empathetic and courageous. Our family and friends rallied around him and although much was accomplished a cure was not found. Even so he truly appreciated the journey and would thank everyone himself if he could. He knew it was special. He would want those gifts to live on.

  I as his father hope more children will have empathy like him, we as parents must protect society from our children just as we protect them from society. Taylor is remembered in the community for always being at the school rain or shine, healthy or not, determined to pick up his sister and get her home safe. He was the best brother and likely her best friend, he loved her dearly. And he was likely my best friend and a wonderful son.

  Taylor was also well known online as a respected and accomplished gamer, StarChild. Gaming was a big part of our families past time together growing up. He still often practiced smash brothers ultimate on switch, looking to rematch with his older brother someday. Never fear my son, we will all play together again. Until then we will carry you with us to see the world you so sadly will miss. Say hello to the family, I am sure they are with you. Remember we love you always. The Winebrenner Family.
