Obituary of Jorge Luis Otero

Jorge Luis Otero was born June 28 1969 To Maria Esther Pagan Cotto and Josè Otero Merced in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico and passed away of natural causes on December 6th 2020 in Tacoma Washington. Jorge graduated from Margarita Janer Palacios in Guaynabo Puerto Rico. 

 

Jorge was an absolute joy to anyone who met him , he was always happy smiling and laughing at whatever joke you told him. He was kind and loving and always in high spirits. He loved spending time with his sister , brother in law and nieces and nephews watching movies and having some Budweiser while enjoying a good meal.

 

Jorge enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years and absolutely loved the Dallas cowboys. He very much enjoyed playing bingo any chance he got. Some of his favorite movies were The Titanic, Scarface and Dirty Dancing. He always had his radio playing with one of his many cd's , he definitely enjoyed listening to music all the time.

Jorge meant so much to so many people and will be deeply missed by his family , his caregivers and all those he has met in his life.

Jorge is survived by his loving sister Evelyn Rivera and brother in law Jose Rivera , His niece , Aimee Durieux and her husband Matthew Larry great nieces and nephews Natalia , Brittany Alijah & Emmanuel  Nephew Jose and his wife Kaila , great nieces Kendell Renee and Gabriella Abigail , nephew Augusto niece Angelica and nephew Diego. He is also survived by many more friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his Father Jose Otero Merced , His Mother Maria Esther Pagan Cotto, His paternal grandparents Inez and Jose and his maternal grandparents Casimiro and Herminia and his brother Jose Mario Otero.

We would like to give special thanks to Edwards Memorial Services for helping and supporting us in this difficult time. We would also like to thank all of the staff at Western Hills Nursing Care Center (Lawton Ok) , all the staff at Willow Park Nursing Care Center (Lawton Ok), all the staff at Montevista Rehabilitation and Care Center (Lawton Ok) and all the staff at Park Rose Care Center in Tacoma Washington. I appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my brother and always making sure he was happy and comfortable and enjoyed every single day of his life - with love and many thanks Evelyn Rivera & Family
