Obituary of Leonard Harding Sayers

            Leonard Harding Sayers of Belfair passed away peacefully at home on the 13th of October 2020, surrounded by his daughters.
            Born on July 9, 1940 in Poplar, Montana, he was the son of

Philip J. Sayers and Ann Bercier Sayers. He graduated from Great Falls Central, Great Falls MT in 1959.
            Leonard served in the United States Navy.  He retired from Boeing as a Quality Engineer Control Inspector after 38 years. In his spare time, Lenny loved reading, bowling and playing golf. He met and married the "love of his life" Mary, after meeting at a bowling tournament. He was passionate about life, the Mariners, Huskies and Seahawks, go Hawks! Lenny was a member of the North Mason Fraternal Order of Eagles #4226 where he enjoyed playing cards, cribbage and camaraderie from his many friends.
            He is survived by his daughters, Inez Ciszewski (Christopher) of Gaylord, Michigan, Lena Sayers and step daughter Rhonda Barrett of Lake Tapps. Sisters-in-law; Barbara Sayers and Alvina Sayers of Havre Montana. Grandson, David Belvin of Ohio and great-grandson, Kain Andrew Belvin of Roger City, Michigan. Also surviving are many wonderful nieces and nephews in Montana.

            Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary (Traylor) Sayers, his brothers; Philip Sayers and George Sayers; sister Deann Garrett and nephew Michael Garrett.
            An Honor Guard memorial service will be held Monday December 7, 2020, at 11:00am at the Tahoma National Cemetery Kent, WA
