Obituary of Thomas William Irwin

Thomas (Tom) William Irwin became our guardian angel on October 9th, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was just 43 years old. He was born on May 18th, 1977 in Burien, Washington. Tom spent most of his life in the South Sound area. He lived with his Mom and Grandparents for most of his school years. He attended Kent-Meridian High School for most of his high school years. He played football and ran track throughout high school. He met his first wife during this time and at the age of 17 Tom became a dad. His first daughter, Alexis (Ally), was born in 1994. Shortly after her birth her mother moved to Seeley Lake, Montana and Tom followed to be with his daughter. He graduated from Seeley Lake High School in 1995. Tom moved back to Washington and decided to settle in the Bonney Lake, Washington area after some time. Tom became a Glazier in the construction industry and made that his career. Tom welcomed another daughter, Mikayla (Kayla) in 1998 and then his son, Blake in 2008. Unfortunately, later in 2008 Tom was diagnosed with Brain Cancer but underwent treatment for it. At the end of 2013 Tom met his wife Pamela (Pam) on a dating website. After dating for about 6 months Pam moved to Bonney Lake to live with Tom where they made their life together with his children. Tom and Pam were married in September 2018. Tom enjoyed watching Seahawks games, going to the casino, playing golf with friends, watching movies, listen to music…preferably the 80s hair bands, going to Wild Waves, spending time at the ocean, backyard Bar-B-Ques and anything that meant he was spending time with his family and friends. Tom’s smile could light up a room and make anyone’s day better. He had such a positive outlook on life and tried to make the best of each day. His children and family were his world!! He is greatly missed by all that knew him.

Tom is survived by his Wife, Pam and Children Ally, Kayla and Blake; Mom Roanna and stepdad Brian Anselment; Grandparents Rose and Charles Barnett; Aunt who is more like his Sister, Theresa and her Husband Jon Workman, and their 3 boys; his close Cousin Roxanne Albro and her two children; his close Cousin Kellie and her husband Brett Roehrick and her two children; and many many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that all loved Tom so much.

Tom’s Celebration of Life will be on November 14th, 2020 from 1PM to 5PM. It will be held at the Meridian Riding Club located at 11202 119th Street E, Puyallup, WA 98374.
