Obituary of Judy Lynn Peacock

Judy Lynn Peacock, 61, a caregiver and longtime resident of North Bend, WA, has gone home to our Lord unexpectedly on August 10, 2020. She is survived by her two children Jon Howe of Friday Harbor, WA, Echo Fankhauser of Monroe, WA & two grandsons, Lane and Luke Fankhauser. Her brothers Michael Akin of Lyman, WA and Mark & Mario Cruz of Marana, AZ. She was Aunt Judy to many nieces, nephews & great-nieces, and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Susan Darlene Robinette and Diana May Holderman.

Judy was born in Tucson, AZ December 17th, 1951 to Marie Schmidt and Pete Peacock. She attended school in Tucson before her family moved to WA state, where she graduated from Mt Si High School in Snoqualmie. She lived her life and raised her family in North Bend. She was always a very hard worker raising her children on her own. She was a caregiver at The Red Oak retirement home. She loved her job and truly felt appreciated by caring for others. Her family was the light of her life, whom she always checked in with every Sunday morning by sending a "Happy Sunday" message weekly. Judy was "mom" to many more children other than her own. She cared for everyone she came in contact with and always gave anything she had to help someone else. She is deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

She was cremated at Edwards Memorial in Federal Way, WA, and will be laid to rest at the Fall City Cemetery in Fall City, WA. A celebration of life will be held in North Bend at a later date for her family and friends.

Missing You

I thought of you today

as I walked out in the yard

since you've been gone

life's been so hard.

I remember how you made me laugh

and touched my heart in a special way

by a look or a smile

oh, how I wish you could have stayed.

No one will ever know

the depth of what I'm going through

and if you were here, without a doubt

you're the one I'd tell it to.
