Obituary of Tammera Lynn Norby

In remembrance of (Tammy), Tammera L. Norby

Heavenly Father called Tammera Lynn Norby home on July 11. One day after our 38th anniversary. She lived a short but meaningful life, was 59 years old.

Tammy was born on May 4, 1961 in Seattle Washington. She grew up in west hill Kent, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979.

She suffered from Auto-Immune disease and in pain her whole life, and was on Hospice for over a year. Through her life, and Even in her diminishing health, she was very courageous, and led a selfless life of Love, Service, and Compassion. She was loved by everyone, as if were family.

She loved the law and became the youngest Superior Court Clerk, later also enjoyed working with Children as a Teacher in ESL and taught herself Russian and Spanish, The kids all lover her, and one asked, could you be my Mommy. Had many hobbies including; Sewing children’s clothes, Rose Gardening with over 500+ in the yard, Crocheting many things and had a Craft Group of friends and family over on Tuesdays, laughed and shared stories, later when the end was approaching, Tammy had them help make me a Remembrance Quilt for me out of her old T-shirts (pic).

We both had a rough time in our youth prior to meeting, and destiny brought us together one evening Roller Skating at Pattisons West, at first sight we both knew that we were meant to be together, then a little over a year later we were married.

Tammy was preceded in death by a baby sibling. Tammy is survived by her father Richard Taylor (Connie), and her mother Mary Lou Taylor, Sister Shannon Templeman (Alan), Sons Christopher Norby (Stephanie), and Aaron Obrien (Jillena, Mom Susan and Troy), and Grand Children, Tommy, Joey, Alex, Micah, and Brynnlie).

Tammy was able to see the goodness and spirit in people, that could not see in themselves, was very easy to talk and open-up to, she encouraged and helped so many. Personally, Everything of who I am, and what I have achieved, I owe it all to her love. We had been together for nearly 40 years, and feel great emptiness and sadness without her by my side. I don’t know who I am without her in my life. Though some day I know we will be together again.

With tears in my eyes, I miss you; Paul Norby
