Obituary of Patricia Lee Bolam

Patricia Lee (Heigh) Bolam was born in Hope, Idaho on November 18, 1939, to Patricia Esther Van Camp and Lester Lee Roy Heigh. She married William (Bill) H. Bolam on September 28, 1956. They raised their 5 children in Federal Way, WA, and retired to Las Vegas, NV In 1996. After Bill’s death in 2002, she moved back up to the Puyallup area to be near her family.

She was extremely smart, competitive, friendly, and never met a stranger.  She was a very avid fan of all sports activities her family was involved with; starting will Bill, then her 4 sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Everyone knew when she was at the game, especially the umps and refs! Her presence will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bill. She is survived by her 5 children, Cathy, Michael (Cheryl), Bob (Katie), Joe (Lorrie), and Marc (Angela). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the third of 12 siblings; 6 are still living and will miss her dearly. Mom (Patricia) passed away after a long illness on July 10th, 2020; her 5 children by her side, and the rest of the family, throughout her last days.

She would be proud of how her children and their children celebrated her life; pulling together and enjoying many memories. We all agreed it was the worst week but the best week. She will be buried at The National Cemetery in Kent, WA with our dad Bill. You are so missed and so loved mom, give dad a big hug for us, and may you rest in peace with the angels.
