Obituary of Travis Grosso
On June 7th, 2020, at age 30, our beloved Travis Devon Grosso passed away unexpectedly in Spanaway, WA. He was born March 2nd 1990 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA to Mark and Angie Grosso.
Travis was a 2008 graduate of Graham Kapowsin High School. Soon after graduating he explored the idea of joining the Navy before residing in Little Falls, MN. After a number of years Travis returned to Tacoma, WA where he always envisioned himself to remain. Holistically, in the too few years Travis was alive he developed many friendships, occupied a variety of jobs, and created beautiful life. Travis was a unique and authentic individual that exuded light and happiness with everyone he crossed paths with. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, while also being incredibly humble. Travis enjoyed living life through simple pleasures; having a laugh with family and friends, spending time outdoors, discussing conspiracy theories, dreaming about adventures, and so much more.
Travis is survived by his mother, Angie Grosso; sister, Courtney Grosso; children, Mia Grosso, Sophia Dye, Avery Swenson, and Jocelyn Casey; maternal grandmother, Claire Goins; paternal grandparents, Jack and Diane Grosso; numerous extended family members and friends.
Travis is predeceased by his father Mark Grosso and maternal grandfather Marvin Goins
No memorial service will be held; however, it is encouraged that Travis’s life continue to be celebrated and cherished through everyone who knew him. He will forever be loved, missed, and remembered dearly.
The family of Travis wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Edwards Memorial for the care and respect they provided.
