Obituary of Barry Ronald Caskin

Barry Caskin 

June 16, 1941 born in Helena, MT- died April 26, 2020

Barry worked for Christiansen Shoe Store in Bremerton with his father Jerry Caskin. He then moved to manage a Christiansen's Shoe Store in Shelton, WA.  He entered the Army and was sent to Vietnam.  After returning he managed a shoe store where he met his wife Lynn.  He left the shoe business and joined the Washington Army National Guard where he was employed full-time in Tacoma, WA.  Because of his employment he went on active duty in the Army and ultimately retired as a Master Sergeant.  He then worked for Kitsap Transit where he retired again. For 15 years during the summer he was the Camp Host at graves creek in Quinault National Park.  Barry and Lynn raised their kids in Lakebay, WA. Barry passed away at home surrounded by his daughter Lisa and grandsons J.D. and Robby. Barry was proceeded in death by his wife Lynn.  He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Darryl) Brenda (Steve) sons Shawn (Shelly) and Brian. His sister Carole Preston, Grandkids Jonathen, Robert, Nick, Tyler, Kole,Aidyn, and Brody and great grandkids Barry, Avalynn, and Elaine. 

A memorial will be set at another date.
