Marcia Louise Stevens

3-12-1950 - 3-25-2020

On March 25th, Marcia Louise Stevens (Erikson) our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away after fighting cancer. A proud Swede and popular within the local Antique and Collectible industry for the past 30 years, Marcia’s humor, kindness, smile and genuine selflessness endeared her to all who were fortunate to know her. Throughout her life, she would always put others first and was a humble confidant to so many of her close friends. Marcia was a 3rd generation graduate of Fife High School and was proud to raise her children in the Fife community as well. Marcia was a wonderful artist and interior designer and was affectionately nicknamed “Marcia Stewart.” Most of all, she was committed to her family. Marcia toured the world keeping in touch with relatives and was a historian of all things relating to the Erikson and Bornander family trees. As a 19 year old young woman, her cousin suggested she write a young Army soldier serving our country in Vietnam. They met for the first time after he returned from the war, fell in love and married shortly thereafter. Marcia and her husband Gary celebrated their 48th anniversary on March 18th. Their wonderful and loving marriage was evident throughout their joint battle supporting her health. In addition to her husband Gary, Marcia is survived by her brother Ed Erikson, her children Matt Stevens (Nicol) and Natalie Batesole (Kevin) and her four grandchildren: Blake and Brooke Stevens, Madeline and Ava Batesole. May God Bless you in Heaven “Mimi,” we love you so much.

The Stevens family would like to sincerely thank the Multi-Care Hospice team for their wonderful care and compassion over Marcia’s final weeks. We are also very thankful to the staff at Edwards Memorial for their support of her arrangements.
