Obituary of Gregory Scott Korba

GREGORY SCOTT KORBA

1962-2020

Greg passed away on Friday February 28 at his home in Tacoma, WA.

Born in San Gabriel, CA His family moved to Tacoma, WA in 1965.

The eldest son of J. Kathleen Korba and Bruce Paul Korba.

He leaves behind his mother Kathleen Korba, his three brothers-

Michael Korba, Daniel Korba, Mathew Korba and Sister Amy Korba

All from Tacoma, WA.

  Greg graduated from Wilson High School in 1980 with a love for music and a passion for new technology. During his time in school, he worked to get “gigs” for his band as a promoter and volunteered his time as a sound and lighting operator at Wilson and the Tacoma Little Theater.

  Greg went on to further his education in the Telecommunications field. Later evolving to become his career as a Telecommunication Training Specialist with Comcast. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Opening the door to new friendships and earning the respect of coworkers for the knowledge he shared.

We love you Greg. You will be missed!
