Obituary of Rex Curtis GeRoy

On Sunday, January 19, 2020, Rex GeRoy, loving husband, father and grandpa passed away after a long battle with brain cancer at the age of 65.

Rex was born in Renton, WA to Bud and Luella GeRoy. He loved his parents and his siblings Linda Badgley (Len), Julie Steffensen (Jim) and Pat (Gloria).

He married Connie Comfort in 1977 and together they raised two amazing children, Joe (Lauren) and Jenni Condon (Billy). His grandkids Carly, Will, Cam, Kellen and Emmy brought much joy to his life. His family and his Catholic faith meant everything to him.

We are forever grateful to those who cared for Rex during his illness. Sharon and Jivanni, Jane and Erik, Jared and Fidel at Narrows Place Adult Family home were absolutely incredible to us all. We also wish to thank his team at Multicare Hospice: Cathy, Juli, Dana, and Michelle.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 30th at St. Charles Borromeo at the 9:00am mass followed by a reception at the church hall.

Donations may be made to the Ben and Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Cancer Tumors at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
