Obituary of Diana Linda Smalls

On Monday, August 5^th, 2019, Diana Linda Smalls, a loving mother of 4, passed away at the age of 59. Diana was born on April 16^th, 1960 in Tamuning, Guam where she spent 22 years of her life before coming to the united states in 1982. While in Guam she attended, JFK high school class of 1978. In 1979, she moved to the United States with her first husband Moses Bradford, whom she raised 2 kids with, Darrell and  Mark Bradford. In 1991, her last daughter Alisha Smalls was born. From 1979-1981, she served in the United States Army, where she was medically discharged for rheumatic fever. In 2009, she retired as a dietary aid from Madigan Medical Center on Joint-Base Lewis McChord.

Diana always kept people laughing. Her smile was contagious and always had a great time with her family. When she wasn’t spending time with 3 grandchildren, Diana enjoyed going to the casino or playing bingo. Diana attended the “The Grotto” in Portland, Oregon every first Saturday of each month. Her love overflowed to her autistic son, Mark, who she cared for up until her passing. Diana loved fiestas, cooking chicken adobo and spending time with her loved ones.

Diana was preceded in death by her daughter Meliza Bradford, her parents Eliza San Agustin Evangelista and Francisco Muna Salas, and siblings, Donald V. San Augstin, Rosalia San Agustin Evangelista, Dolores San Agustin Evangelista. Diana’s love and memories will be cherished forever in the hearts of her children Darrell and Mark Bradford and Alisha Smalls. As well as, her siblings Caroline San Agustin, David P. & MaryJane San Agustin Toves, Julie San Agustin Evangelista, Bobby San Agustin, Juan San Agustin & Josefa C. Evangelista, Pete & Mari Weldy. She will be missed by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and grandchildren.

Public viewing will be at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home (11020 S. Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499) on Thursday, August 15^th, 2019 from 5pm-9pm, Rosary will be at 7pm.
