Obituary of Timothy Daniel Day

Timothy Daniel Day (age 54)

Son - Brother - Father - Uncle - Friend, left this earth October 15th, 2019.

Tim was born on June 28, 1965 in American Fork, Utah. He Grew up in Ogden, Utah, graduating from Ogden High School in 1983, and moved to Washington in 1989. He lived in Gig Harbor, Washington at the time of his passing.

Tim will be remembered for his musical talent. He played the Baritone Horn in the Ogden High School Pep Band, Tiger Marching Band, and Symphonic Orchestra. He also sang in the Chamber and Acapella Choirs from Junior High through High School and played the guitar (self-taught). He had the honor of marching with the Ogden High School Band in Disney Land - 1982; Calgary Stampede in Canada - 1983; and performed for President Reagan at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City Utah - 1982. He was an Eagle Scout by the age of 12. He was also a Scout Leader at Summer Camps throughout High School. He spent many summers fishing and camping with his Stepdad Zane when not at scouts.

He loved music (especially Elton John & “The Beatles”); books; dungeons and dragons; and spending many a night at the bookstore with his adopted Bro “Tim Chase” (the 2 Tim’s). He was a gamer to the very end, moving from board games to RP games. When Tim was in High School he took apart his first Compaq Computer to see how it worked, then realized he now had to reassemble it! As a young artist he created the logo for the Music Store, “Toad Tapes” in Ogden. Finally, his artistry moved from paper and pen to food. Learning the culinary arts and loving to bake as a pastry chef in Ogden, he made many meals for family and friends in Utah and Washington. He was truly a Man of many talents!

Tim was diagnosed with COPD in 2002, this was the beginning of health challenges that he was not prepared for at such a young age; succumbing to additional health issues his heart finally gave out.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul W. Day (Dad - 2006) Sharon L. Stevenson (Mother - 2016); Zane D. Stevenson (Stepdad - 2018); his life partner, Lori Sandvold - 2011.
