Such wonderful memories of Paul (and you, Bev) - so giving, so faithful, so loving. Opening your home, investing in youth, modeling Christ. God’s extra comfort in the weeks ahead.
Don and I remember both of you with much joy and fun! We walked into your home when you were hosting the 20's and 30's in the 1970s at Highland Community Church. You made us feel very welcomed and part of the group. We benefited from both of your friendships over the 40+ years that we have known you.
It is always a time of grief when we send a loved one on ahead to Glory, but that grief is couched in the Knowing where he is and with Whom he is...Jesus Christ our Savior.
Thank you for being such a vivid part of our lives. We love you both and look forward to the time when we ALL will be in Heaven! What a day of rejoicing THAT will be for sure!!
With much love and fond memories,
Ele for Don as well
So sorry to read of Paul's passing which I happened upon in FB today. My husband Mike and I have started going to a Bible study for over 50's lately and the main host is named Paul and remarkably looks like your Paul and he was a teacher also. We will send prayers and good thoughts. Paul was the one who rode my bike sitting backwards and got me eating toast with mayonaise instead of butter. and of course you were my babysitter so many years ago. Love you!
Such a beautiful photo full of the love, devotion, and the pure joy of your lives together. I feel so fortunate to have known you both and been the recipient of the special hugs, the twinkle in Paul's eye, and the wonderful example you both are of what it means to walk in love and service through your faith.
Dear Bev and family,
Paul was such a dear man and a wonderfully fun travelling companion as we went on many adventures with Bev and Paul. Such joyful memories of a dear friend and a godly man. We cherish our memories of good times with you two.
Love and prayers are with you all.
