Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Koep

Kenneth passed away February 22, 2019 at St. Clare’s Hospital In Lakewood, WA at the age of 76 yrs. old. Kenneth was cremated at Edwards Funeral Home in Lakewood. There will be no funeral at this time but a memorial service will be held in MN at a later date.

Kenneth was born October 26, 1942 in Battle Lake, MN to the parents of Leo and Gladys (Hagen) Koep. He is survived by his wife Debra (Voge) Koep, daughter Delone (Ron) Oseles, son Terry, son Tony (Beverly) and son Dominic (Amy). He has 5 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters and 3 great-grandsons. He also is survived by brothers Duane, Jerome, Michael, 2 sisters Jeanette (Don) Shultz and Carol (Jim) Grother as well numerous other family and friends.

He attended and graduated from Battle Lake High School and Moorhead State College in MN. Kenneth had many careers including over the road trucking, bar/restaurant owner, gas station owner, owner of adult D.D. foster care homes and farmer. Kenneth was a kind and caring man who helped anyone who needed it. He loved to travel, read, painting crafts, working with wood, building and fixing things. He also resided in a variety of cities Fergus Fall, MN, Deer Creek, MN, Tucson, AZ and Lakewood, WA.
