Obituary of Dennis Byron Perry

Dennis Byron Perry was born in Tacoma, WA, on November 15, 1951. He attended Park Avenue Elementary School, Baker Jr. High and graduated from Mount Tahoma High School in 1970. Dennis pursued his education at Pacific Lutheran University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. He was a talented musician, had a variety of dance bands, and was also a church organist. Dennis enjoyed playing at senior care facilities and sharing old tunes with the residents. He also had experience in the banking industry. He passed away in Tacoma on February 25, 2019. He is survived by sons Scott Perry (Charissa) of Wilsonville, Oregon and Alex Perry (fiance Rachel) of Mercer Island, WA. He has one granddaughter, April, in Wilsonville. Dennis is also survived by his sister, Joan (Ron) Ahre, of University Place, WA. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 9, 2019, 1:30 pm, at Lutheran Church of Christ the King located at1710 85th St E, Tacoma, WA 98445.
