78, born 4/21/1928 in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska and passed away 9/19/2006 in Gig Harbor, WA surrounded by his loving family. Richard worked 45 years in the airline industry starting with TWA and retiring as a VP at GATX. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Teddee of Gig Harbor, WA; son, Steve (Carol); 2 daughters, Katherine (John) Pelkey of New York, Cynthia Wagener of Seattle, WA; step-daughter, Gina (Vince) Villeneuve of Auburn, WA; 2 brothers, Wayne Wagener of CO, John Alexander of MO; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. Service with military honors to be held 12:45 PM Wednesday, 9/27/2006 at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA.
