Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Lee

Kenneth Eugene Lee December, 28 1964 – February 14, 2008 Born in Seattle Washington on December 28, 1964. Passed away on February 14, 2008; after a long illness. Kenneth was born almost 2 months early at West Seattle Hospital and was taken to the University of Washington Hospital for treatment of a lung disease in addition to complications of premature birth. We were not able to bring him home for two months. He attended several area schools in Seattle area, later he moved to Mount Vernon Washington to live with his father. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School, in June of 1983. Following graduation he worked several years for the local Sears store, also Dairy Queen, and Taco Time. He also attended technical school for computer maintenance and repair in the Tacoma area in 2006, but was unable to follow this career due to health problems. Ken enjoyed computer activities and was an avid “online gamer”, mainly in the World of Warcraft game. He collected baseball cards, baseball headliner player statues and some collectable coins. He was an avid football fan, and could be found in front of the TV cheering for his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks and managed to attend some of the home games. He also enjoyed walking trails in the Pacific Northwest around Sumner and in the Mount Rainier National Park. Kenneth was preceded in death by a younger brother Christopher M. Lee (age 5), of Seattle and his mother Connie Lee Aumick of Seattle. He is survived by his father, Allen D. Lee of Dunkirk, NY and his sister Wendy Marie Moses of Sumner, WA. Also his nephews, Christopher R Lee, HI, Jon M. Lee, HI and Tyler J. Moses, Sumner, WA his lifelong friend Ron Powers of Eugene, OR, and Conner. To his nephews and close friends, he was always knows as “Uncle”. Family and friends were present at his bedside at the time of his passing. At Ken’s request, his remains will be scattered over Mount Rainier later this year. There will be no memorial service, flowers or viewing. A celebration of life potluck will be held at his sister’s home on Saturday, February 23rd, beginning at 1:30PM.
