Obituary of Patricia Helen Burch

She was Gramma Berg, Gramma Trish, Aunty Patsy, Mom, Friend. Mom was born in the Bay Area of California. And lived her final months in Tacoma, Washington. She was colorful and fun.She was full of life and love. She was never afraid to speak her mind. She was never afraid to follow her heart. And follow it she did. Her heart led her to Winemucca, Nevada, which left her with many funny stories to share (and occasionally shock) And she followed it to Alaska to fulfill her dreams there, along with her best friend of many years, Marilyn Sanders. Mom took great enjoyment from life. One of her favorite things to do was beadwork. She even worked for a bead store while living in Alaska. She also loved her Poker nights with her dear friends up in Cordova. Mom was a doting Grandmother and loving friend. Moms favorite thing to do, however, was to laugh. She had a sharp wit and the ability to make everyone around her laugh. Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Edwin and Mary Agnes Berg, and her siblings Eleanor, Sonny and Bobby. Survived by siblings Colleen, James, Wesley and Lorna. As well as her three children, Elizabeth Bruce, Glen Jesse and John Elliott Collard. She also has ten Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She also had numerous Nieces and Nephews and was an unofficially adopted Grandma and Aunt to many, many others. Mom left a favorite saying for us to remember her by: "Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all." Laura I. Wilder Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center 253-566-1008
