My Dad always made every holiday fun. Even though I am 42 years old and make Easter baskets for my own children, I would still get an Easter basket from my Dad and I always love that. I will always be greatful to him for introducing me to the beauty of this wonderful Earth through camping. I never feel better then when I am out camping or hiking. Thanks Dad, I will always love you. Take care of Snoopy for me.

I will always remember growing up just down the hill from Russell and Alice and my cousin Denny. I've lived away from Tacoma since 1968, so I haven't seen him often over the years since then. It always meant a lot to me that he made the effort to come to my wedding reception in Vancouver, BC. in 1972. I was glad Dennis was feeling well enough to make it to my Dad's (Sig Jackowski's) funeral in May 2006 so I got to see him one last time. God be with you 'til we meet again. Your cousin, Marianne

Dennis came into my life when I was fourteen. He was the only father figure that stuck around. During the five years I was still at home, Dennis introduced me to camping. Some of my fondest memories have been the family camping trips to Ohanapecosh and all seven of us kids in the big tent and my mom and Dennis in the little one. We didnt always see eye to eye, especially when I was in my teens and early 20s but I grew to love him because he was good, kind and loved my mom. He became my dad in the last 10 years or so, cense I had cleaned out my emotional closet and found my father in him. Dennis will always have the place in my heart as my dad. I love you DAD.

I'm going to miss Dennis he was an awesome Father-in-law and I really didn't think of him as an in-law but truly as a father. I enjoyed all our time we were able to spend together in the 6 years by either camping, kite flying or spending the holidays together. I specially loved the fact that his son and I were able to give him memories of a ferry ride or going to Northwest Trek. I will never forget him and he will be truly miss.
