Obituary of Merrill Ray Porter

Ray left us on Saturday morning January 20, 2007 to be with our heavenly father. He was a loving husband to his wife Donna for 38 years. A father of three sons Vernon (Christy) Brian (Shelli) and Jason. He was preceeded in death by his father Merrill and leaves behind his mother Garnet, Ray also had seven brothers and sisters, Rick, Karen, Kevin, Ed, Steve, Mickey, and Heather. Ray also had eight grandchildren Ashley, Jessica, Austyn, Andrew, Zeke, Zach, Tyler, Lydia. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Roy fire department for 21 years.He also worked for the Bethel School District for 21 years. Ray leaves behind so many friends and family members that loved just to be around him. He had a special way of always making you smile no matter what kind of day you were having.
