So many memories of Uncle Dallas from the time my family spent in Moses Lake, WA or Eugene,OR. I have very special memories of my Uncle Dallas's marriage to his wonderful wife Aunt Vicky when I was small girl living in Salishan. From that marriage began a long relationship with Sig and Eva Dahl. Eva is Aunt Vicky's sister. It was a great privilege to visit with Uncle Dallas last summer and actually see the Certificate of Patent on his last invention. My brother Robert has many great memories of Uncle Dallas and actually worked with him on one of his patents. I am so proud of Uncle Dallas and that he was always working on something while into his 80s. He truly fits the model of a person belongin to the Elders of Excellence. Uncle Dallas was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor. I will truly miss him. My condolences to Aunt Vicky and her family. Uncle Dallas is with the angels now and at peace. I love you all.

I remember Uncle Dallas as a wonderful husband and father to my aunt and cousins. He helped my parents in Port Orchard by restoring their home along with numerous other favors. I haven't seen him much in his later years because of his illness. I do remember me tagging along with him through the bushes in Pullman, WA while he was quail hunting. I'm sure that's why he didn't catch any that day. He was a wonderful human being.
