Patsy Harris

Obituary of Patsy Marie Harris

Patty Harris was born July 9, 1929 in Flint, Michigan. Her parents were Pauline and Clyde Fry. Her family relocated to Missouri where they managed a farm until her three brothers; James, Chuck, and Bobby went away to war. Eventually they made there way to California, to Napa Valley. Patty relocated to the San Jose area where she spent most of her life. She was a homemaker for many years raising her children; she was very much involved in their lives. Later on in her life she relocated once again to the Sunnyvale area where she became involved in the plating business and was very successful in this position. She loved her job very much and the people she worked with as well. Once she retired from this job she decided to move to Tennessee to be around some of her grandchildren. Patty was a people person; everyone seemed to be drawn to her. She lived in an apartment building in Sparta and soon found new friends quickly. She was a good neighbor and friend to the people in her building… people still ask about her to this day. The weather in Tennessee was not kind to her so she moved to Tacoma, Washington where more of her grandchildren reside. There her daughter and son-in-law found a great place for her to live in an apartment where once again people were drawn to her and she loved these people dearly. Patty is survived by daughter-in-law Paula Perez of Spokane, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Alan Mershon of Puyallup, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Dean Fultz of Redmond, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Tim Hickey of Sparta, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Perez of Spokane, WA.; Jamie and Joel Aumock of Port Ludlow, WA; Sunny and Jason Holcomb of Waco, TX; Donnie Wick of Tacoma, WA; Callie and Christopher Fultz of Redmond, WA; Eli and Caleb Bryant and Brianna Hickey of Sparta, TN; and two great grandchildren, Evan Holcomb and Macy Aumock. Patty was preceded in death by her first husband James Perez, her son Danny Perez and grandson James Perez. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center (253)566-1008
